Privacy Policy

Commerce Song LLC makes Elevator Fun Rooms, a Meta Quest game in development, and operates elevatorfunrooms.com. This policy explains what data we handle for the game and website, why, and how to request deletion.

Data used by the Quest game

The game uses the Meta Horizon Platform SDK to ask Meta for the player’s age group once per session. Meta requires access to the User ID feature for this age-group request. The game code does not separately retrieve or use the player’s User ID, and it does not store or log the age-group response. The current game has no age-restricted features, so the response does not change gameplay.

Headset and controller tracking are used on the device to let players look around and interact with the rooms. The game code does not send that tracking data to Commerce Song LLC or store it for later use. The game has no separate account beyond the player’s Meta account, and no advertising, in-app purchases, or player-to-player features.

Meta provides the headset, platform, and SDK, and handles data under Meta’s privacy policy. This policy describes Commerce Song LLC’s handling of game data; it does not control Meta’s independent data practices.

Data from the website

The website’s waitlist and contact forms are for adults. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, signup time, and consent record privately in Amazon Web Services (AWS) so we can send game announcements. If you contact us, we receive your name, email address, topic, and message through AWS and use them to respond. The contact email also includes your IP address, country code, and browser or device user-agent string to help us investigate abuse and delivery problems. A contact message does not add you to the waitlist. Both forms use temporary, IP-derived rate-limit records to prevent abuse.

Please do not submit a child’s name, health information, or other private details through the website forms. We do not sell information submitted through the game or website. Website information is available to Commerce Song LLC and the services that deliver and store those website submissions; we do not send Quest player data to those services.

Deletion and privacy requests

Because the game code does not retain a player’s User ID, age group, or tracking data, Commerce Song LLC has no stored game profile to delete. To ask us to delete a website waitlist entry or contact message, or to ask what information we hold about you or your child, email doug@commercesong.com or choose “Privacy request” in the contact form. Include the email address used for a website submission so we can locate the record. For information held by Meta, use Meta’s privacy controls.
